CAMCO 41-15

CAMCO® 41 Series are a custom-blended polyalphaolefin (PAO) synthetic hydrocarbon oil giving improved lubrication at high and low temperatures, reduced volatility, and compatibility with mineral oils and equipment designed for use with mineral oils.

CAMCO 91-22 HT

CAMCO® 91-22 HT

TYPICAL PROPERTIES*
CAMCO 91 Series are based on highly refined, hydrocracked & dewaxed white semisynthetic HVI paraffinic oil and synthetic hydrocarbon fluids. This special refining coupled with state of the art additive technology results in performance improvements beyond other compressor fluids. Superior oil separation results from a very high degree of refining and de-misting additives.

Used in applications where a chemical resistance, oxidation resistance, thermal and hydrolytic stability, corrosion protection and superior water separation are required. They are also shear stable.

Typical applications include oil flood screw and vane air compressors (standard fill), certain reciprocating compressors, natural gas compressors (standard fill), centrifugal compressors, certain vacuum pump application, and general bearing or applications where rust and oxidative (R&O) type oils are specified. Lower viscosity grades may be used in liquid ring vacuum pumps. Life expectancy is generally considered twice or more of premium mineral oils. Life expectancy is dependent on operating and environmental conditions.

CAMCO® Pure AW Hydraulic Series

CAMCO® Pure AW Hydraulic Series are custom blended highly refined chemically inert lubricants with additives for improved lubricity and defoaming characteristics. Additives include anti-wear for use in hydraulic systems and other applications where an anti-wear lubricant is desired.

CAMCO 42-R-68/100/150

CAMCO® 42-R Series PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

CAMCO® 42-R Series products are high temperature, oxidation-resistant, fire resistant, polyol ester synthetic lubricants suitable for air compressors, bearings, ovens, hydraulic systems, and other high temperature applications.  CAMCO® 42-R is particularly suited for applications where the temperatures exceed 350°F and the oil is in contact with air, e.g. cylinder lubrication of reciprocating air compressors having high compression ratios of large diameter cylinders where jacket cooling is inadequate.  This lubricant, with good stability, resists breakdown and prevents build-up of deposits on the hot compressor discharge valves.

In addition to good stability and fire resistance, CAMCO® 42-R Series has low volatility, resist thinning at elevated temperatures, and has excellent  lubricity and film strength.  This greatly reduces the quantity of lubricant which must be fed to conveyors, compressor cylinders, etc.   Usage can be reduced ten-fold or more.  One point per 20,000,000 – 40,000,000 square feed of swept cylinder surface is usually adequate for air compressor cylinder lubrication.  This is an important factor in eliminating fire and explosions in compressed air systems and for applications where it is important to minimize pollution or contamination (e.g. instrumentation).  CAMCO® 42-R Series meets USDA requirements for H-2 food grade.

CAMCO® 42-R Series products are also ideal for applications where the oil is exposed to elevated temperatures for extended periods of time.  Air oven tests at 400°F show CAMCO® 42-R to have at least four times the life of the more conventional Diester lubricants.

CAMCO® 42-R Series are also recommended for use when evacuating animal fats such as meats, cheese, and fish. These products are not particularly well-suited for chemical applications but are an excellent choice for applications where there are extremely high-discharge temperatures. They can also be used for many compressor applications.

CAMCO® 9-HT Series

CAMCO® 9-HT Series products are custom blended highly refined base fluids with additives to produce a premium, extended life, rust and oxidation-inhibited lubricant.  They are formulated to give good demulsibility and antifoam properties.  CAMCO® 9-HT Series products also have excellent lubricity and antiwear characteristics.

Product Description

CAMCO® 9-HT  anti-wear (AW) hydraulic oils are recommended for heavy-duty hydraulic applications requiring the best of wear protection at pressures in excess of 1000 psi (7000 KPA).  Depending on viscosity grade, they can provide excellent performance down to low ambient temperatures.  Their performance in the field has proven to be outstanding in terms in low wear on hydraulic pumps and valves, protection against rust, corrosivity and long term resistance to both thermal breakdown and oxidation.

CAMCO® 9-HT (AW) oils meet the demanding hydraulic fluid requirement of reciprocation, gear, piston and vane pumps.  The higher viscosity grades pass the demanding Denison HF-O pump test requirements.

The CAMCO® 9-150-HT and 9-220-HT oils may be used for gear box application.  Their additive package makes them premium, extended life, rust and oxidation-inhibited lubricants.  They have excellent demulsibility and anti-foam properties.
